How we report on Kentucky cannabis.
homegrown is a patient-first, independent transparency platform. Every page you read is written to one bar: we would defend it to a pharmacist, a licensed cultivator, and a patient reading it before their first visit.
Shelf listings come from public Kentucky dispensary menus, scraped weekly. Potency and terpene claims come from licensed Kentucky safety-compliance COAs. Patient outcomes are labeled as patient-reported and never mixed with clinical claims.
Medical-adjacent content is reviewed by a licensed Kentucky pharmacist reviewer before publish. Cultivator and dispensary claims are cross-checked against public license records. Nothing is published on a brand's say-so alone.
If a shelf listing, COA reading, or claim on homegrown is wrong, email corrections@homegrownky.com. We publish the correction with a timestamp within 24 hours and update the underlying snapshot on the next ingestion cycle.
No paid placement.
Cultivators cannot pay to rank higher. Dispensaries cannot pay for a shelf badge. Rankings reflect what patients and menus tell us; not what a brand pays us to say.
No data resale.
Patient-level activity is never sold, syndicated, or brokered. Aggregate signals are shared only where k-anonymity is preserved.
No exclusivity deals.
homegrown will not sign category-exclusive coverage. Every licensed Kentucky operator gets the same shot at the same shelf math.
Bylines credit the homegrown editorial desk. Weekly reporting appears in Kentucky Cannabis Dispatch; a plain-language column written for patients, budtenders, and cultivators who care what actually landed on shelf this week.
